    DiversiFly LLC is a creative mental wellness company based in Birmingham, Alabama. We offer inclusive, group-based wellness events and retreats — including healing circles, workshops, and immersive retreats — designed to support change, personal growth, and community connection.
  • 2. What types of events do you offer?
    We host: Community healing circles Creative wellness workshops Supportive group gatherings Local, domestic, and international wellness retreats All events are rooted in culturally affirming practices.
  • 3. Who can attend your events and retreats?
    Our offerings are open to individuals aged 13 and up, with a focus on serving BIPOC and underserved communities. No prior experience or diagnosis is required — just a desire to heal, grow, and connect. So, whether you’re LGBTQ+, living with a disability, a student, working professional, all are welcome! In the future, we plan to offer child-friendly events. *All non-POC participants are welcome but are to remember that this space is focused on their BIPOC counterparts.
  • 4. Are your events a substitute for therapy?
    No. While our offerings are focused on mental health, they are not a replacement for one-on-one clinical therapy or psychiatric care. They serve as complementary, community-based support options.
  • 5. How much do events and retreats cost?
    Many events are low-cost, and some are completely free. Retreat pricing varies but we aim to keep everything affordable. We hope to offer payment plans and scholarships in the future.
  • 6. Do I need a mental health diagnosis to participate?
    No. Our events and retreats are open to anyone 13+ seeking emotional support, community, or wellness tools — with or without a formal diagnosis.
  • 7. Where are your events and retreats held?
    Local events take place in Birmingham, AL. Domestic retreats are hosted in cities across the U.S. International retreats offer restorative and cultural enrichment experiences in culturally diverse settings.
  • 8. Who leads your events and retreats?
    Events are led by experienced facilitators with backgrounds in: Mental health and social work Holistic wellness and healing Creative expression and cultural care All sessions are guided with cultural humility, safety, and inclusion.
  • 9. How do I register?
    You can register directly through: Our website: diversiflyllc.org on our “Events” page. Our Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook social media pages. Event-specific links in our email newsletters (coming soon). Note: Pre-registration is required for retreats and encouraged for all events. Youth under 16 will need a guardian to accompany them to hosted events.
  • 10. What is the age requirement?
    All DiversiFly events and retreats are for individuals ages 13 and up. Participants under 18 under the age of 16 will need a guardian to accompany them to all hosted events.
  • 11. How do you ensure cultural responsiveness?
    We center BIPOC voices, cultural healing traditions, and lived experience in every aspect of our programming. Our work is grounded in inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive practices.
  • 12. Can my school or organization partner with DiversiFly?
